Northborough Food Pantry offers thanks for community supportDear Editor:

The Northborough Food Pantry would like to thank everyone who came out to support the Pantry at the Applefest Street Fair and at the Bistro Bake Sale held at the Greater Northborough's Got Talent Show. Proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets and baked goods will be used to purchase perishable foods for our clients this fall and winter. We are grateful to Michelle Gillespie, Patty Murphy and the Rotary Club for providing us with an opportunity to raise funds for the Pantry.

We would to thank all those who donated raffle items, baked goods and those that helped staff the Street Fair Booth or were part of the Bake Sale Committee including the following individuals: Susan and Melissa Distler, Betsy Goodhue, Joan Wyshak, Kate Nash, Christine Thompson, Julie Leonard, Sharon Campion, Carolyn Harrington, Carrie Harding, Eileen Palmer and Sue Seppa.

Food donations are accepted year-round and may be left at the Food Pantry located on the bottom floor of the Northborough Town Hall. Monetary donations may be mailed to the attention of the Northborough Food Pantry at 63 Main Street in Northborough. More information about the Northborough Food Pantry can be located at www.nfpantry.org.

The Northborough Food Pantry is staffed and run solely by volunteers allowing 100% of all donations to be used to purchase food and related items for the pantry. The clients and volunteers of the Northborough Food Pantry extend a heartfelt thanks to you for your support.

Gratefully,

Northborough Food Pantry Board Members
