Northborough 2012 dog licenses now on sale

Northborough – Dog licenses for 2012 are now on sale at the Town Clerk’s Office at 63 Main St. Dog owners may purchase a dog license in person, by mail, or online.

A current rabies vaccine is required to purchase a dog license; the rabies vaccine information might already on file in the Town Clerk’s database. Contact the office to verify what is on file.

Dogs are licensed on the calendar year – January through December – and all dogs age 6 months and older are required by law to be licensed.

Town Hall hours are Mondays, Wednedays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m; Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Fridays from 7 a.m. to noon. To purchase a dog license online, visit the town of Northborough website at www.town.northborough.ma.us and click “Online Services.”
