Marlborough’s Ghost Light Players announce auditions, meet and greet

Marlborough – Auditions for Ghost Light Players’ first production, “Almost, Maine,” will be held Tuesday, Jan. 17 and Thursday, Jan. 19, from 7 to 9 p.m., at First Church in Marlborough Congregational. The show calls for an ensemble cast of 10 people (five men and five women) within the age range of 20s to early 40s. Ghost Light Players will hold the performances in March 2012.

The newly formed Ghost Light Players of MetroWest hearken back to the days of old, when traveling troupes entertained their patrons with little more than a few props, masterful skill and an avid love of theater. Their sets are small, the costumes minimal, but their talents and passions are great.

A great way to get to know Ghost Light Players, as well as learn about Almost, Maine, is to come to their Meet & Greet Sunday, Jan. 8, at 2 p.m. The Meet & Greet is also at First Church in Marlborough Congregational. Meet the director, stage manager and producer of the show, as well as other folks from the community, and learn about the play.
