Marlborough – Members of St. Mary’s Credit Union’s senior management team made a special holiday visit Dec. 20 to the Boys & Girls Club in Marlborough. The team took a tour of the club to get a first-hand look at the facility and the quality after-school programming that is available to more than 300 kids each day. The executives then spent the afternoon competing in Nok Hockey tournaments, playing foosball and building gingerbread houses with the kids.

Anthony J. Battista, vice president of marketing at St. Mary’s Credit Union, was one of the participants.

“Spending time with the kids at the Boys & Girls Club is the best way to understand the how important the club really is in this community,” Battista said.  “We’re proud to partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest in their efforts to provide children with a safe and fun place to learn and grow. This was a wonderful holiday experience for all of us.”

During their visit, the senior management team was accompanied by Boys & Girls Club President Fran Hurley.

“St. Mary’s Credit Union continues to be a key community partner for our organization. Each year the credit union invests their time and their money in the programs that we offer to over 650 local kids each day,” Hurley said. “The credit union’s desire to give back to the community where they do business starts at the top with the senior management team.”
