Guilty pleasures at ‘Death by Chocolate’
Shrewsbury – Jane Erickson samples a white-chocolate raspberry truffle from Hebert Confections, the winner of “Best Candy” at the Rotary Club of Shrewsbury’s “Death by Chocolate,” held Jan. 29 at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston. After sampling chocolate treats provided by 16 businesses and the Shrewsbury Girl Scouts, guests voted for their favorite in five categories. The major sponsor of the first-time event was Central One Federal Credit Union. Proceeds will benefit the Paton School Playground Rebuild Fund and other community service projects.
