Shrewsbury town clean-up day scheduled for March 31

Shrewsbury – The town of Shrewsbury Parks & Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Board of Health, is sponsoring the annual town-wide clean up day Saturday, March 31, from 9 to 11 a.m., with a rain date of April 7. Community groups are asked to help volunteer to clean a public area of town, a park, or a school yard to help beautify the town and get the areas ready for spring time use.

Special town clean-up trash bags and gloves will be provided. Groups are asked to sign up in advance so they can be assigned an area. Any individuals who wish to join should meet at the Dean Park South Pavilion to help out at that facility.

For more information, email Angela Snell, Director of Parks & Recreation, at asnell@th.ci.shrewsbury.ma.us or download a registration form off the town website at www.shrewsbury-ma.gov/parkrec.
