Local dance students win New England titles

Westborough – Taylor Markarian, 17, of Shrewsbury, won the title of Miss Dance of New England 2012, and Sarah Angelico, of Northborough, won the title of Teen Miss Dance of New England at the Dance Masters New England Title competition, which was held March 24 and 25 at Worcester State University. Both girls are students of the Charlotte Klein Dance Centers. One hundred-forty dancers from both the Westborough and Worcester studios competed in the Performing Arts division of the competition and were awarded Supreme Gold, Gold and High Silver medals. Charlotte Klein Dance Centers congratulates all of the students for their hard work and dedication to dance.

Dr. Pizzi to sponsor Shrewsbury Little League team

Shrewsbury – This spring, local dentist Dr. Todd Pizzi of Modern Dentistry of Shrewsbury is sponsoring one of Shrewsbury's Little League teams. Shrewsbury Little League runs softball and baseball games for boys and girls ages 5 to 16 years old. The season starts at the beginning of April and Dr. Pizzi will be supporting the Mariners team in the Farm Division.
