Veterans Inc. celebrates National Volunteer Appreciation Week with dinner
Worcester – In appreciation of its dedicated volunteers, Veterans Inc. will host its annual volunteer appreciation dinner Thursday, April 19, from 5 to 7 p.m., during National Volunteer Appreciation Week. An estimated 100 volunteers, staff members, and veterans are expected to attend the event. There will also be an award ceremony to recognize this year’s Veterans Inc. Volunteer Service Awards to the top Individual and Group Volunteers that have shown the most loyalty, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our veterans in 2011 – 2012.
The evening will also include a special unveiling of the Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School metal art work to be displayed to our homeless veteran population. Veterans Inc. will also be giving away a donated vehicle from the Vehicle for Veterans Program to a homeless veteran client.
