Westborough Garden Club holds plant sale May 19

Westborough – The Westborough Garden Club’s Annual Plant Sale will be held Saturday, May 19, from 9 to 11 a. m., at the Tufts Machine parking lot.

Each year in May, members of the Westborough Garden Club offer their locally grown and nurtured perennial plants for sale to the Westborough community. Proceeds are used to help plant and maintain the many beautiful community gardens throughout the town. This year, the club is looking for 6-inch or larger plastic pots and is asking the public to bring their extras to the plant sale.

Garden club fundraising also provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors and offers educational programs free to the public at the club’s monthly meetings.

The Tufts Machine lot is located at 49 East Main St. For more information on the Westborough Garden Club, visit http://westboroughgardenclub.org/.
