Katherine Speed of Westborough inducted into Gold Key Honor Society

Westborough – Katherine Speed of Westborough, a  senior in Theatre Education: Acting at Emerson College, has achieved high academic standing and was inducted into the Gold Key Honor Society at a ceremony April 18 at the Tufte Performance and Production Center’s Semel Theater.

Speed, along with 98 other students, was awarded a certificate of achievement. Seniors will also receive a special sash to be worn at commencement.

The interdisciplinary Gold Key organization was founded to recognize outstanding academic achievement. Membership is extended to juniors in the top 5 percent and seniors in the top 10 percent of their class who have completed at least 48 credits at the College.

Located in Boston, Emerson College educates individuals who will solve problems and change the world through engaged leadership in communication and the arts, a mission informed by liberal learning.
