Dear all attendees of Northborough Town Meeting,
The Friends of the Northborough Library would like to publicly thank Rick Leif for his invaluable service to the Friends of the Northborough Library for over three years spent as Treasurer. He served through an especially difficult time of reduced budgets and funding for the Library.
Not only did Rick serve as Treasurer, but he spearheaded a Friends Fundraising event, Croquet on a Winter’s Day, which raised $8,000 for the Friends, which went directly to the library Book Fund. Without his leadership, this event would not have been so successful. The Town of Northborough would be fortunate if it had more residents as dedicated to public service as Rick.
