Southborough – Monday, Oct. 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Southborough Library will hold a book and cookie sale during the town's Heritage Day celebration. Southborough Library Teens are coordinating the cookie sale this year in conjunction with the Friends of the Library book sale. New this year, three local authors will have a table at the book sale and offer their latest work for sale. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the library.
Residents interested in baking cookies for the sale can drop them off Saturday, Oct. 8, any time from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., or early on Heritage Day, Monday, Oct. 10 at the library. Also, the Friends of the Library are still accepting donations of gently used books up to Friday, Oct. 7 for their Heritage Day Book Sale.
