Sweet Caroline’s Scholarship Skate April 28 at Roller Kingdom

Hudson – Stop in Saturday, April 28, from 6 to 9 p.m., at Roller Kingdom in Hudson, for a fundraiser for the Caroline Doiron Scholarship Fund. There will be a DJ, karaoke, games, a snack bar, and free skate rental. Suggested donations of $5 per child will be collected at the door for admission. All proceeds from this event will be applied in Caroline’s memory toward a Full Day Kindergarten Scholarship at Armstrong Elementary School in Westborough.

The scholarship was founded when Lisa Doiron, a kindergarten teacher at Armstrong Elementary School, suddenly and unexpectedly lost her 21-month-old daughter. The scholarship will honor Doiron’s dedication to all children, especially the youngest population, and keep her daughter, Caroline, in the hearts of all of those who knew and loved her.

If you are unable to attend and would still like to donate, checks can be made payable to “Town of Westborough” (please note Sweet Caroline in the memo) and mailed to Armstrong School, c/o Cady Spencer, 18 Fisher St., Westborough, MA 01581.

For more information, contact Cady Spencer at spencerc@westborough.k12.ma.us or Donna McCarthy at mcfauch@aol.com. Roller Kingdom is located at Exit 26, Route 62E off Route 495, in Hudson.
