Krause, Sangenario graduate U.S. Air Force basic military trainingRegion – Air Force Airman Jay C. Krause and Air Force Airman 1st Class Michael G. Sangenario have graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Sangenario also earned distinction as an honor graduate.

The airmen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Krause is the son of Sonja Collins of Flagg Street in Boylston. He is a 2008 graduate of Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in Marlborough.

Samgenario is the son of Gary Sangenario of Randall Street in Worcester. He is a 2006 graduate of St. John's High School in Shrewsbury, and earned a bachelor's degree in 2010 from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
