Andrew Paul “Drew” Stevens, 4

Shrewsbury – Andrew Paul “Drew” Stevens, 4-year-old son of Charles A. and Susan E. (Costa) Stevens of Shrewsbury, passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 27, 2012 at his home after an illness.

Besides his parents Andrew is survived by his grandmothers, Mary Stevens of West Boylston and Margaret Costa of Natick; his two uncles, Christopher Costa and his wife Donna of Virginia Beach, VA and Paul Costa of Natick, two cousins Philip and Paul Costa along many, great aunts and uncles, and friends. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Andrew Stevens and Paul Costa.

Drew was a loving boy with a love and affection for others that was evident by his infectious smile and vivacious personality. He enjoyed playing with his friends, toys and going to his family's summer home in Ogunquit, ME. Drew attended pre-school at Lilliput, ECC and Parker Road Pre-School. He also played in the Shrewsbury Youth Soccer League.

Drew's family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of UMASS Medical Center and especially those in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for the treatment and support that they provided.
