Colonials overpowered by the Tomahawks
Shrewsbury – Shrewsbury High School’s (SHS) Kelan McCann (center) brings the ball downfield against the defense of Algonquin Regional High School’s (ARHS) Amanda Murphy (#20, left) and Abby Biron (#17, right) during their game April 24. Shrewsbury hosted rival Algonquin. ARHS jumped out to an early lead, and SHS’s Deanna Ineson got SHS on the board late in the first half, which ended 9-3 in ARHS’s favor. ARHS kept adding to their lead in the second half, with the game ending 13-7 in the Tomahawks’ favor.
