Alexander W. Paul receives award at St. Lawrence’s Moving-Up Day Ceremony

Southborough – Alexander W. Paul, of Southborough, was presented with the Franz Boas Award at Moving-Up Day ceremonies, held April 28 at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. The Franz Boas Award is presented for outstanding overall achievement in anthropology.

Moving-Up Day celebrates student achievements in academics and co-curricular activities. It is a campus tradition dating from 1869, when it began as “Tree Holiday,” to add trees to the campus landscape.

A member of the class of 2012, Paul graduated from Brookline High School.
