Westborough remains undefeated
Westborough – Westborough High School (WHS) senior co-captain and first doubles Ali Strand (front) prepares to return a volley during the match against Wachusett Regional High School’s (WRHS) Tiana Dame and Aubrey Lovejoy. Strand and her partner, Ayako Mikami (rear), won 6-1, 6-2.
Spearheaded by wins from first singles Brianna Greene and first doubles Mikami and Strand, Westborough defeated visiting Wachusett May 4 in Westborough. Both teams were undefeated in overall play this year, but WHS won 4-1 to remain 5-0 (Mid-Wach B), 7-0 overall.
