Boland wins a third selectmen term in Southborough

By Bonnie Adams, Government Editor

Bill Boland

Southborough – Incumbent Bill Boland defeated Leo Bartolini  Jr., 942-509, in the Board of Selectmen race in the May 14 Annual Town Election. This will be Boland’s third term on the board.

“I am very thankful for the support of those who voted for me,” he said after the unofficial results had been announced.

Boland noted that a major priority the board will be addressing in the immediate future is the hiring of a new Town Administrator. The current administrator, Jean Kitchen, will be retiring at the end of June.
