‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ performances Aug. 2 – 4 in Marlborough

Marlborough – All the town is abuzz about the Gaudete Academy’s Summer Shakespeare production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” which will be performed Aug. 2, 3, and 4, at 7 p.m. each evening. The performances will take place in at the air-conditioned Social Hall at Saint Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church, 9 Cashman St., Marlborough.

Shakespeare’s story of love gone wrong opens with the Athenian nobles, led by the warring Theseus and his fiancée Hippolyta, joined by their servants, Philostrate and Egeus.

Tickets, only available at the door, are $12 per adult and $10 per senior/student.
