Shrewsbury – The town of Shrewsbury has announced that absentee ballots for the Sept. 6 state primary are now available at the Town Clerk's Office. The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is by 12 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5.
Also, the last day Shrewsbury residents will be able to register to vote in the Sept. 6 state primary is Friday, Aug. 17, until 8 p.m., at the Town Clerk's Office. Mail-in registration forms must be postmarked by Aug. 17.
The Town Clerk's Office is located at Shrewsbury Town Hall, 100 Maple Ave. Office hours are Mondays through Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Visit www.shrewsbury-ma.gov/department/?fDD=3-0 for more information on the Town Clerk's Office.
