Westborough Woman's Club donates to Hot Summer Nights

Westborough – Laura Allen, of the Westborough Woman's Club, presents a check for $300 to John Badenhausen, the director of the Westborough Youth & Family Services (WYFS). The donation will be used for WYFS's community outreach and Hot Summer Nights Program (HSN).

HSN offers a variety of summer programs for town teens in grades 6-10. These include both locally based programs and trips throughout the region. The Westborough Woman's Club donation will help pay for scholarships to the summer program for families in need.

The Westborough Woman's Club is open to any woman 18 years and older. The club was founded in 1916 and is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs. They meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 12:00 p.m. at the Congregation Church, 8 Church St., ?for a light lunch, meeting and program. Through fund raising events they provide scholarships for graduating high school students and support various needs in the community.
