Jams for Cans this Saturday in Northborough

Northborough – The first annual Jams for Cans charity concert will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, from 2 to 6 p.m., at Ellsworth-McAfee Park to benefit the Northborough Food Pantry and Helping Hands of Northborough.

The concert will feature four local bands of varying musical styles: B3, Kenya Diggum, Dr. Spaceman, and Parade of Ants.  Financial support for the concert has come from several local businesses, including Tougas Farms, Davidian Brothers Farm, Staples, Stop & Shop, Wegman’s, Bertucci’s, The Whiz Store, and from the extended Butz family in Lancaster, Penn.

Concertgoers will be admitted to the concert by donating school supplies or boxes of granola bars or healthy snacks.  Ellsworth-McAfee Park is located on Route 135 in Northborough.
