Norma Nelson, 85

Merrimac - Norma (Erlandson) Nelson, 85, of Merrimac, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012 at Amesbury Village after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of Gordon Nelson for the past 56 years.

Norma was a graduate of Marlborough High School and was a very talented seamstress. She could create anything you asked her to with her magical fingers. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Clifford Nelson and his fiancé, Jude Braccia, of Merrimac and Priscilla Millefollie and her husband, Paul, of Chesterfield, VA; two grandchildren, Victoria and Benjamin Millefollie; and a sister-in-law, May Erlandson of Leominster. She was predeceased by her son, Erlandson Nelson, and two brothers, Alfred and Rudolph Erlandson.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 1 p.m., at Southborough Rural Cemetery, 11 Cordaville Rd. (Route 85).  Arrangements are under the direction of the Morris Funeral Home of Southborough.
