Hudson – Patrick J. Doherty, 92, of Hudson, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center in Marlborough, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Winifred S. (Rocks) Doherty of Hudson.
Patrick was born and raised in Ireland, son of the late Berney and Cassie (McGonagle) Doherty. He had been a longtime resident of Hudson and resided in Boston for a short time prior to Hudson. He was a former contractor for the U.S. Government until his retirement. He was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
Patrick was predeceased by his son, Alan Doherty, and leaves his several siblings, his sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may attend a calling hour Friday, Aug. 31, from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, followed by a funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson.
