The C.A. six tips of the day for Sept. 11

Region – Today is Tuesday, Sept. 11, the 255th day of 2012.

It was a beautiful late summer morning 11 years ago when the world changed in a moment. For anyone old enough to remember the devastating events of that Tuesday morning, “9/11″ automatically brings to mind the fear, confusion and sadness of that terrible time.  The events of Sept. 11, 2001 remain to date the worst incidences of terrorism on U.S. soil since Pearl Harbor.

On this day in 1987, the movie that sent chills down the spines of marital cheaters as well as fans of rabbits, “Fatal Attraction,” premiered. The film, which starred Michael Douglas and Glenn Close, received six Academy Award nominations.

And on this day in 1921, silent-film star Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle,” was arrested for the rape and murder of starlet Virginia Rappe. Arbuckle was acquitted by a jury, but his career never recovered.

Today’s birthdays include rapper Ludacris (1977); musician Moby (1965); and Wall St. television reporter Maria Bartiromo (1967).

Here are six tips for the day -
