Grecian Festival in Marlborough celebrates cultural traditions

Marlborough – Monthe Kofos (left) and Nikki Benader (right) dance along to live music Sept. 1, the first day of the three-day annual Grecian Festival held Labor Day weekend at Sts. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church. Guests enjoyed an extensive menu of Greek delicacies prepared by volunteers. New this year, the festival featured more dance and musical entertainment, servings of Greek wine, and extended hours. Proceeds from past festivals helped rebuild the parish hall, destroyed by a fire in 2001. This year’s funds will go toward additional work on the community center, known as Hellenic Hall.
