Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury High School (SHS) girls soccer team hosted Fitchburg High School (FHS) on Sept.  13 in Shrewsbury.  SHS came out shooting, with junior Victoria Rutigliano quickly scoring the first of her three goals. Other goals followed quickly, with junior Gabrielle Auzenbergs also completing a hat trick.  The score was 7-0 in SHS’s favor at the end of the first half.  In the second half, SHS played a passing game but FHS was unable to mount any pressure; the final score was 7-0.
