Motorcycle ride benefits scholarship fund

Marlborough – Motorcyclists start the 50-mile course of the sixth annual Dollars for Scholars Bike Ride held Sept. 15, beginning and ending at the Marlborough Moose Family Center. Afterward, the event opened to the public for dinner and live musical entertainment. Proceeds go to the Citizens Scholarship Fund of Marlborough, which has presented scholarships to the city's residents for 22 years. This year's event was in memory of Scott Symonds, who died in a car accident last year at age 38 after attending his 20-year Marlborough High School reunion.
