Elizabeth L. Reynolds, 79

Naples, Fla. – Elizabeth L. (Hammonds) Reynolds, 79, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness in Northborough.

She leaves her devoted husband of 41 years, Robert G. Reynolds; 2 sons, Douglas Newell of Evansville, IN, Robert G. Reynolds, Jr. of Northborough, MA; 4 daughters, Lorraine Hair of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Kathy Rinaldi of Pine Beach, NJ, Christine Griffiths of Bristow, VA, Elaine McCullough of Southaven, Miss.; 1 sister, Jean Didden of Homasassa, FL; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was born in Lakewood, NJ and raised in Toms River; she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel (Everett) Hammonds. She owned and operated the Lamp Post Inn, Pine Beach, NJ with her husband from 1969 – 1983.

Elizabeth and Robert retired to Naples, FL in 1987. She enjoyed fishing and golfing and spending time with her family.

A memorial Mass will be held for Elizabeth Friday, Sept. 28, at 10:00 a.m., in St. Joseph’s Church, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Burial is private.
