Westborough Police arrest Marlborough man on warrant

Westborough – Police Chief Alan Gordon released this statement this morning: On 9/26/12, at approximately 6:40 PM, Officer Chris Atchue observed a motor vehicle being operated on E. Main St. He did a random check on the vehicles registration and determined that the owner of the vehicle had a warrant out for his arrest. Officer Atchue was able to stop this vehicle on Rte. 9 at Hundreds Rd.. The operator was identified as Mauricio M. Mina, age 35 of 9 Lincoln Ct. Marlborough. He was also the owner of the vehicle.

Mina was arrested on a warrant from Westborough District Court for operating a motor vehicle without a license and speeding. The Westborough Police Department also received notification from Federal ICE officials that Mina was wanted by ICE. A detainer was lodged against Mina. He is being held at the police department for arraignment in WDC this morning.
