Donations needed for Southborough Library book sale

Southborough – The Friends of the Southborough Library is accepting donations for its Heritage Day Book and Bake Sale, to be held Monday, Oct. 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Gently used books and DVDs may be dropped off at the library until Friday, Oct. 5. Baked cookies can be dropped off at the library on Saturday, Oct. 6, or delivered to the Friends’ Book & Bake sale Monday morning, Oct. 8.

“We depend on the proceeds of the Heritage Day sale to fund children’s programs, lectures and special events throughout the year,” said Beth Melo, the group’s president.  “We know our patrons love the sale, and we hope that this year’s selection will be the best yet.”

For more information about the sale or the Friends, visit the library’s website at www.southboroughlib.org/support-the-library/friends-of-the-southborough-library/, or contact Beth Melo at becmelo@yahoo.com.
