Westborough promotes awareness with symbol of hope

Westborough – October is breast cancer awareness month and once again, a large “ribbon” graces the front lawn of the Forbes Municipal Building. For those who live in or pass through Westborough, the ribbon serves as a reminder and a visible symbol of hope. It has been filled with pink mums, which will soon blossom with color. The soon-to-be pink ribbon, is meant to offer strength, hope, faith and courage to all who have been touched by the disease.
