Observing Fire Prevention Week in Marlborough
Marlborough – (l to r) Molly Dailey and her daughter, Emma, 4, operate a fire hose with help from firefighter Christie Clement at the Open House held Oct. 7 at the Marlborough Central Fire Station in observance of National Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 7 to13). Children received trick-or-treat bags filled with safety literature, and watched a video hosted by Sparky the Fire Dog. After getting behind the wheels of fire trucks and an ambulance, they and their families were treated to popcorn and pizza.
