Westborough – Police Chief Alan Gordon released this statement this morning:

On 10/7/12, at approximately 2:35 PM, the Westborough Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at the rotary in the center of town. The arriving units found three vehicles with considerable damage.

The operators of the vehicles were Joseph A. Pryharski age 17 of 12 Appleseed Dr. Westborough and Diane G. Dak age 56 of 467 Amherst Rd. Sunderland. Pryharski was operating a 2012 Subaru and Dak was operating a 2009 Subaru. A third vehicle, a 1999 Lincoln, owned by Mary O’Regan of 83 W. Main St Westborough was parked when it was struck by the Dak vehicle.

The investigation revealed that Ms. Dak was operating west on E. Main St. when she failed to yield to the Pryharski vehicle which was within the rotary heading onto Milk St.

Both operators were examined at the scene by Paramedics from the Westborough Fire Department but did not require transportation to a hospital.
