Southborough – The annual Southborough Heritage Day Celebration began the evening of Oct. 7 with “Light Up Southborough,” when carved and decorated pumpkins were displayed along Common Street. Activities continued throughout the day Oct. 8 with a parade on Main Street, a book and bake sale at the library, an open house at the fire department, a luncheon at the Community House, and a six-hour gathering at St. Mark's School field with vendors, live animals and a magic show. Political candidates marched in the parade and mingled with guests afterward.
