Charles Santaguida, 88Westborough – Charles Santaguida, 88, of Westborough, passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, surrounded by his family, at the UMass/Memorial Healthcare-University Hospital in Worcester.

Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Modesta and Lydia (Eynard) Santaguida; brother of George Santaguida of El Paso, Texas; and brother of the late Henry Santaguida and Louise Pisano. He is survived by his loving nieces, Janet, Nancy, and Diana, and nephews, Rik, David, and Charles. He is also survived by many other nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Charles was educated in Pennsylvania schools and graduated from Drexel University. During WW II and the Korean Conflict, he served with the U.S. Air Force.? Charles was employed as an engineer for RCA and G.E. prior to his retirement.

He was a member of the Cassia Mt. Horeb Lodge #273 A.F. & A.M., enjoyed fishing, and had been a resident of Westborough for four years, previously living in Drexel Hill, Penn.
