Northborough to hold ‘household hazardous waste day’

northboroNorthborough – The town of Northborough has scheduled the next “household hazardous waste day” for Saturday, Nov. 3. Boxes for use at this function will be available to Northborough residents (one per address) who produce photo identification listing a Northborough address. The charge for the box is $10; those funds will help to defray some of the program costs.

Boxes will be available for pick-up at the Fire Department headquarters, 11 Pierce St., during the following times:

Tuesday, Oct. 23, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 27, Saturday, Oct. 27, 9 a.m. – 12 noon; and Tuesday, Oct. 30, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

The total number of boxes is limited, so distribution will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
