Westborough girls ‘volley’ over Central Catholic High

Westborough- Westborough High School (WHS) hosted Central Catholic High School (CCHS) for a non-league matchup Thursday, Oct. 11. CCHS came out strong and won the first game 25-21; in the second game the two teams battled but WHS came out on top, 25-23.  WHS also took the third game easily, 25-14 but CCHS turned the tables in the fourth game, 25-16.  In the fifth and final game the teams were close, but WHS won 15-13 to take the match 3-2.

With the win, WHS retained its Midland A first place position (7-0 league, 11-2 overall).
