Old Man Winter is on his way!
Region – With the 2013 Farmer’s Almanac, and other sources, predicting much lower-than-normal temperatures for the Northeast in the coming winter months, humans and animals should take precautions for the cold to come. Might be prudent for homeowners to check door and window seals, stock up on snow-removal equipment and make sure heating systems are in good working order.
Those expecting a winter as mild as last year’s may be in for a “bitter” surprise.
