Pumpkin face ‘greets’ seniors at Shrewsbury Senior Center

Photo/Submitted

Shrewsbury – Kathy-Tony Smolskis, one of the seniors involved with the Meals on Wheels program at the Shrewsbury Senior Center, grew a 75-pound pumpkin and donated it to the center. Three Shrewsbury High School seniors, Filia Van Dessel, Marina Li and Chloe Mc Callum, painted the pumpkin and transformed it into an elderly smiling face. It is now on display in the center’s dining room for all to see and enjoy.
