Lorraine M. L’Bassi, 77

Hudson – Lorraine M. (Bruzzese) L’Bassi, 77, of Hudson,died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin M. L’Bassi, who died in 2002.

Lorraine was born and raised in Everett, daughter of the late Edward and Irene (Melanson) Bruzzese. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Everett High School. She was a longtime resident of Hudson and was employed as a legal secretary for many years with the Kittredge & Giannetti Law Office of Hudson until her retirement. She was a member of Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson.

Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her family. She devoted her spare time and took great pride in the care of her home and raising her family. She especially enjoyed the times she spent with her loving grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children, Benjamin L’Bassi and his wife Christine of Shrewsbury, Michael L’Bassi and his wife Virginia of Sterling and Christina Morley and her husband Thomas of Reading. She also leaves her eight grandchildren and two nieces.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 9:00 a.m., in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial services will follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery of Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours Tuesday, Oct. 23, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson.
