Parishioners support animal shelter

Shrewsbury – Pastor Andrew Heisen, of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Shrewsbury, performs a prayer service Oct. 7 at the Worcester Animal Rescue League. The service was held in celebration of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals. As part of the event, Mt. Olivet members also toured the facility and donated supplies and gifts to support the shelter's work.
