Westborough students raise money for UNICEF

Westborough – The Westborough High School UNICEF Club raises money and awareness for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), which helps children living without basic privileges like food and clean water. This is the UNICEF Club’s second year at the high school. This year, the club is once again raising money for the nationwide UNICEF event: Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, by reaching out to local schools and selling candy-grams at the high school. On Halloween, kids can ask not only for candy, but also a small donation for supplies to aid children in need, which they can then mail to UNICEF to support the cause.

Donations may be made online at www.trickortreatforunicef.org or contact the club president, Melissa Zhang, at melissahzhang@gmail.com.
