WFAEA provides grant for mural

Photo/Submitted

Westborough – The Westborough Fine Arts Education Association (WFAE) has announced its support of the mural at Mill Pond School. The association along with other organizations funded a mural titled Performance on Parade. The mural was created by local artist Ernie D’Elia and completed with the aid of Mill Pond students.  It is located on the lower level of the school near the fine arts classrooms.

This is one of several fine arts projects that WFAEA supports during the year. Grants are available due to its major fundraisers, membership, the Season for the Arts Ad Book, and the Gala in May.

For information on WFAEA, contact Cathy Purcell, president, at 508-366-0399.
