Northborough – Elizabeth Wall, daughter of Nena and Robert Wall, of Northborough, has been awarded the Susan Glover Hitchcock Scholarship Award. Wall is a junior at The Boston Conservatory, majoring in vocal performance with an opera emphasis. She is a graduate of Algonquin Regional High School.

The Susan Glover Hitchcock Fund was established in 1934 by Madeleine H. Soren “… to assist in their studies of music and their musical education such female students of music who are residents of Massachusetts … with weight given to the character and earnestness of purpose of each student, as well as well as to the student’s ability and talents.”
