Northborough resident awarded scholarship

Northborough – Elizabeth Wall, daughter of Nena and Robert Wall, of Northborough, has been awarded the Susan Glover Hitchcock Scholarship Award.?Wall is a junior at The Boston Conservatory, majoring in vocal performance with an opera emphasis. She is a graduate of Algonquin Regional High School.

The Susan Glover Hitchcock Fund was established in 1934 by Madeleine H. Soren “ to assist in their studies of music and their musical education such female students of music who are residents of Massachusetts … with weight given to the character and earnestness of purpose of each student, as well as well as to the student's ability and talents.”
