Paul B. Newman, 60

Shrewsbury – Paul B. Newman, of Shrewsbury, died at home Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, following a long hard fought battle with cancer. He was 60.

Paul was born and raised in Spencer, and graduated from David Prouty High School. He served several years with the Air National Guard.

Paul worked for 15 years for Spag’s Supply of Shrewsbury before his illness.

He leaves his mother and step-father, Doris M. (Beer) Thomas and Roger O. Thomas of Spencer, and his three sisters, Merrily Thomas and her husband George of East Brookfield, Virginia Kovacs and her husband Bill of New York, and Jean Perry and her husband Wayne of Hardwick, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Carl R. Newman.

At Paul’s request, there will be no services.
