The C.A. recap for Nov. 19 to Nov. 24

Region – Here are the Community Advocate's top six stories for Nov. 19 to Nov. 24:

1. A special Thanksgiving luncheon for the Westborough High School's administrators and staff was hosted by the students in the school's Life Skills class.


2. Algonquin came out on top in this year's Thanksgiving Day match-up against Westborough.


3. Speaking of Algonquin football, you can's have any serious discussion about the team's history without mentioning Dick Walsh, who has been associated with the program for over half a century.


4. The Marlborough Fire Department has been unusually busy lately fighting a spate of fires.


5. Southborough's beloved Thanksgiving tradition, the Gobble Wobble 5K Race and Two-Mile Walk, drew over 1,000 participants this year.


6. Northborough residents recently shook out their best “80s outfits and partied for a good cause – helping kids in need.
