Westborough Woman's Club announces scholarship recipients

Westborough – Three Westborough students recently received college scholarships from the Westborough Woman's Club.? The first scholarship from the club was awarded in the 1920s.

The scholarship committee had many qualified candidates for the annual scholarships. Two Westborough Woman's Club scholarships were awarded to Amy Haskell and Naloti Palma. Haskell, daughter of Lisa and David Haskell, is attending Boston College as a secondary education and English major.? Palma is a criminal justice major at Westfield State University.? She is the daughter of Kathy and Scott Wilfert.

The Evangeline Dreher Memorial -Westborough Woman's Club scholarship was awarded to Kaelyn Beaudette.? She is the daughter of Lori and Robert Beaudette, and is a nursing major at Messiah College.

The club's fundraisers of town meeting bake sale, holiday house tour, fashion shows and other fundraisers contribute funds to the scholarship program and other community projects.? For club information, call president Carol Black at 508-836-4686.
