On November 29th officers observed a vehicle fitting the description of suspect vehicle in the area of Sasseville Way. After conducting a stop of the vehicle, the operator, Christopher Carty, was placed under arrest for various motor vehicle offenses. During a subsequent interview with officers, Mr. Carty’s involvement in the vandalisms, larcenies, and breaks into several vehicles in the area of the Rail Trail in Marlborough was verified.
In addition, Mr. Carty also made statements which implicated him in similar crimes in other municipalities including Hudson, Westborough, Sudbury, Shrewsbury, and Clinton.
